These shots were taken while on leave from the U.S. Air Force during the summer of 1978.

This shot was taken at Exit-27 of I-81 near Manada Hill, PA at a Truckstops of America. This shot was taken at the Springfield, MA farmers market complex. Michelson was the leading produce distributor there during the 70's. Theia shot was at the Dallas Pike, WV Exit of I-70. Think it was called Windmill Truckers Home.

Theis shot was at a Holiday Inn parking lot across the street from the Dallas Pike, WV truck stop. This lineup shot was taken in April 1977 at the Muffin Treat along I-80 in Fairfield, CA. The Ford COE belonged to Crystal (a Sacramento area dairy concern). The white White F/L w/ the blue diamond on the door is for Baldwin a Bay Area can hauler. GMC Astro was leased to Hilt Truck Line from Omaha, NE and the IH Transtar next to it was for Ogden Transfer & Storage, Ogden, UT and was taken at the 49er 76 Auto/Truck Stop along I-880 N. of Sacramento, CA in Feb. 1977.

General view taken at the Cordelia, CA Terminal Stations taken in 1978. This shot includes a Wyle Redwing Refrigerated from Tampa, FL and 2 Two Guys Dept. Stores with their contract hauler Vornado Trucking White Road Boss's out of NJ shot in May of 1975 at the Secondi Bros. and Mayflower Truckstops that were side by side along I-95 near Milford, CT. One was a Texaco and the other was a Gulf. Atlas Van Lines agents and a John F. Ivory agent taken at the Secondi Bros Truck Stop.

This shot includes a Gleason Transportation IH-4200, Allied Pete COE agent and a Mack COE leased on to the Spec. Comm. div. of Associated Transport also shot at the Secondi Bros and Mayflowrer Truckstops. Rig lineup at the former Courtesy House 76 W. of Vero Beach taken in early 1979 on my Truck Stop Gatherings page. The blue and orange Ford 9000 belongs to Goldkist Farms an Atlanta, GA based poultry cooperative and the orange & white Pete down the row was leased onto Alterman Transport Lines out of Opa Locka, FL. "Trucks on Break." Taken in 1978 at the Cordelia, CA Terminal Stations along I-80.

Group shot ( 2 C & H Trucking F/L's ((not sure where they were based out of)), Exley Express F/L COE and a United Van Lines IH Transtar) were taken at the Cordelia, CA Terminal Stations Texaco. Truck lineup at the 49er 76 Auto Truck Stop along I-880 N. of Sacramento taken in June 1976. "Bedbuggers Convention" shot of 4 moving vans. Lots of movers layed over at Terminal Stations Texaco in Cordelia, CA, because it was the closet truck stop with a sizeable parking lot and facilities to the Bay Area coming from the East and N.W. down I-5. Taken during 1976 at the old reliable Terminal Stations Texaco in Cordelia, CA.
