I don't know anything about Chromalloy except as I had just pulled out from the toll booth at Exit 3 of the Mass Pike he was approaching it to pick up his ticket to get on the Mass Pike @ Westfield back in late 1974. |

As a teen I loved the classic looks of the Pete 359 and built the AMT "California Hauler" model kit of it. So when the rare opportunity to get to photograph one in person around Western Massachusetts would come my way it was a big treat indeed. I tried to capture this machine in full glory from the front view at the old A & P warehouse on Springfield's N. end sometime in 1974. |
