Another O/O leased on with Momsen Trucking from Dubuque who had pulled into the Mass 10 Truck Stop on U.S. 20 in auburn, MA during the summer months of 1974.	Interesting Hudson Cement IH with that lift axle from NY State in front of M & M Camera Sales on U.S. 202 in downtown Westfield. I shot this out of the drivers side window of Mom's VW bug as I was headed South through town in late 1974.	I don't know anything about Chromalloy except as I had just pulled out from the toll booth at Exit 3 of the Mass Pike he was approaching it to pick up his ticket to get on the Mass Pike @ Westfield back in late 1974.
This winter road spray covered Pete for Blue Ridge Carpet Mills was sitting on the side of the entrance ramp to the Mass Pike in Westfield as I was exiting out of the toll booth on this dismal early 1975 day.	Another winter scene from early 1975 at the Valley View Diner in W. Springfield. Not sure where Tabago Furniture was based out of. Snow storms were just part of my growing up years before I experienced living in the South where frost doesn't heave and pot holes don't grow!	Here is an Air Force Ford hauling an F-100 Super Sabre fighter jet that had a landing accident up a taxiway and back to a hangar at Barnes Airport in Westfield in late Feb. 1975.
Here's a daycab Brockway COE for Vornado Trucking delivering to the Two Guys Department Store by Exit 5 of the Mass Pike in Chicopee in summer 1974.	A O/O with his Pete COE leased to Transamerican Freight Lines and an unidentified KWCOE layed over at a motel along MA Route 147 in Agawam in 1973.	Stanley Furniture would deliver to this furniture store which sat right next to the mainline Penn Central Boston to Albany division tracks in downtown Westfield. This was one of my earlier shots taken in 1973.
Reinzo was either CT or NJ based and the driver of this all business looking R Mack had layed over in one of the many small motels along U.S. 5 in W. Springfield in spring 1975.	As a teen I loved the classic looks of the Pete 359 and built the AMT "California Hauler" model kit of it. So when the rare opportunity to get to photograph one in person around Western Massachusetts would come my way it was a big treat indeed. I tried to capture this machine in full glory from the front view at the old A & P warehouse on Springfield's N. end sometime in 1974.	Momsen O/O's were a common sight around the Springfield area like this West Coast F Mack that was unloading in W. springfield in 1974.
Not sure if this was an O/O or a CRST company tractor for this Cedar Rapids, IA based fleet that I found one evening in summer 1974 at the Valley View Diner in W.Springfield.	Arnold Bakeries was using the services of Flexi Van Truck Rental from New Haven, CT for their power provider to deliver bread to the local distributors warehouse in W. Springfield in 1974.	had gone by the A & P warehouse in Springfield to look for any rigs that were unloading in and right up the road from it I saw this Brockway with the big pre-stressed beam pulling in which made for a good action shot.
This White 7400 and the trailer had both seen better days but they had a certain tough highway look to them in my eyes so I shot it. The lettering on the cab door reads Concord Trucking Co. but can't make out where from and it was parked along U.S. 20 in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield in 1974.	Hometown land clearing co. Al Deveno & Sons Trucking ran this interesting Mack that was being loaded up at this constuction site along U.S. 202 near Westfield in early spring 1974.	H & H Poultry, not sure of their home base but I had the opportunity to shoot this nice Pete COE of their's waiting his turn to pull into the old A & P warehouse in Springfield in fall 1974.
A.F. Moyer & Sons Beef Packers from Souderton, PA ran these then new GMC Astro's to deliver their product to meat distributors like Hampden Beef in Springfield where I found him at in summer 1974.	I'd get a picture of any trucking scene that I could when I was a teen. In this one I was a passenger riding with my Dad on Westbound Mass Pike between Exits 4 & 3 when this opportunity arose sometime in 1973.	Tempco Transportation, Inc. from Columbus, IN was at the Marquis Texaco on U.S. 5 in W. Springfield on this evening during summer 1974.
Unidentified Diamond Reo COE was layed over at the Westfield Hojo's in 1974.	An O/O leased to Navajo Freight Lines from Denver, CO delivering meat to Hampden Beef in downtown Springfield sometime in 1974.	This snazzy looking red & white Ford had just finished offloading his produce at the Springfield farmer's market sometime in 1974.
Ryder Truck Rental was being fueled up at the Ryder lot in downtown Springfield during summer 1974.	Computer Air Van Transfer & Storage from L.A., CA @ the Country Court Motel on U.S. 202 on Westfield's N. side in spring 1975. Transamerican Van Lines hauled electronics in and out of Digital Equipment who had a plant near Westfield in the 1970's.	Unidentified Autocar at the Eastbound Mass Turnpike service plaza near Ludlow in fall 1974.
Looks like the lettering on this old White Freightliner reads Transpet possible from New Jersey somewhere. He was backed up to a warehouse in W. Springfield in late 1974.	C.R. England from SLC, UT was stopped along U.S. 20 in W. Springfield in late 1974 with this nice looking KW.	An O/O leased to Food Haulers, Inc. out of Elizabeth, NJ was delivering to this Shop rite Grocery along MA Route 141 in Chicopee, MA in early 1975.
his was one of my earliest truck pictures of Maxim Engine #2 for the Westfield Fire Dept. that responded to an engine fire in this Corvette on U.S. 202 near my childhood home just before nightfall in 1972.	his dreary day shot of this White Freightliner was in early 1975 at the Springfield farmer's market.	This Chemical Leaman R Mack had pulled into the Marquis texaco in early 1975 to get tire service on his L. rear duals as you can see it jacked up underneath the rig.
	An O/O leased on with Spector Freight System's special commodities div. had stopped his Mack on MA Route 147 in W. Springfield back in early 1975.	Bekins Mack was shot at the far South end of the Marquis Texaco in summer 1974.
Another load for Hampden Beef in downtown Springfield, MA by an O/O leased to Southwest Freight Lines which was a div. of Interstate Motor Freight System during summer 1974.	This O/O had his White Freightliner leased to Watkins Motor Lines from Lakeland, FL and had pulled into Jerry's 76 Auto/Truckstop along I-95 in Manning, SC in late Feb. 1973.	An unidentified Diamond Reo at Hampden Beef back in summer 1974.
This O/O had his Diamond Reo day cab leased to Eagle Motor Lines from Birmingham, AL delivering some more hi-tension line tower parts near Westfield, MA in summer 1974.	Helms Express and Ryder Truck Lines Louisville Fords at that LTL motel in W. Springfield in early 1975.	Pete leased to Colonial Refrigerated Transportation from Birmingham, AL at the LTL motel in W. Springfield, MA in early 1975.
O/O leased to Food Haulers from Elizabeth, NJ delivering to a Shop Rite grocery in Springfield, MA in early 1975.	Unidentified long nose Mack was fueling up at the Mass 10 along U.S. 20 near Auburn, MA in Jan. 1976	Allied White 7400 agent was dieseling up at the Marquis Truck Stop also during summer 1974.
Albert Farms from Slocum, RI ran this sharp KW with the big A that lit up on the front bumper. I found him parked along U.S. 20 in Springfield, MA in early 1975.	An O/O who had his GMC Astro leased to ISMF- Interstate Motor Freight System's steel division was at the Marquis Texaco in summer 1974.	Bowman Transportation, Gadsden, AL at Westfield Hojo's summer 1974.
Here's an interesting picture taken at Hampden Beef in summer 1974. Check out where the Brockway symbol is resting on this unit leased to CFX Coldway Food Xpress from Sidney, OH. Not sure if Swing Line was a fleet the CFX acquired, a sister fleet or what because that's the only Swing Line trailer I ever saw.	Classic Global Van Lines colors at the Valley View Diner in W. Springfield during fall 1974.	This unlettered GMC Crackerbox was parked one afternoon in early 1975 next to the Penn Central rail yard in W. Springfield.
Heavy & specialized hauler Hallamore Motor Trans. from Holbrook, MA with a load of some sort of machinery at the Valley View Diner in W. Springfield during summer 1974.	L. G. Dewitt Trucking out of Ellerbe, NC at the Springfield farmers market complex in summer 1974. L.G. Dewitt was another one of those long time Southern reefer fleets you'd see running up and down the East Coast in the 60's & 70's. Hopefully someone knows some history about L.G. Dewitt to share with us fellow trucking buffs.	Here's an O/O who has this very colorful and sharp Mack leased to Associated Transport from NYC that was layed over at a motel along U.S. 5 in W. Springfield sometime in 1974.
An Eastern Mass based lumber company White 9000 getting unloaded in W. Springfield in early 1975.	The driver of this Columbia Paperboard R Mack from Albany, NY was eating at the Valley View Diner in W. Springfield on this snow covered morning in early 1975.	KWCOE leased to Dallas & Mavis Forwarding Co., Inc. from South Bend, IN stopped along U.S. 5 in W. Springfield in spring 1975.
A nice looking but unidentified Brockway COE with some long sections of pipe at the Marquis Texaco in W. Springfield in Summer 1974.	O/O's leased to Spector Freight System's Steel Division stopped on Union St. in Westfield waiting turn to unload in the fall of 1974.	This O/O had his White Freightliner leased to Diamond Transportation Systems from Racine, WI and was delivering these new U.S. Postal Service yard tractors
R Model Mack leased to Pittsburgh & New England Trucking from Dravosburg, PA was shot across the street from the Exit 3 ramp to the Mass Pike in summer 1974.	An extra sharp O/O's Diamond Reo who had it leased to Jones Motor Co.'s Lancer Div. from Spring City, PA was waiting to unload at Sterling Radiator Co. along U.S. 202 in Westfield on spring morning in 1975.	A Jay Lines from Amarillo, TX White Freightliner at the ARCO fuel stop across U.S. 5 from the Marquis Texaco in W. springfield in early 1975.
Bulk hauler P.B. Mutrie Transportation after Coastal Tank Lines from Akron, OH purchased them about 1974. This Transtar was parked along the Penn Central E. W. mainline near the W. Springfield rail yards in late fall 1974.	Weaver Country Style Chicken Road Commander I from New Holland, PA at the Marquis Texaco in summer 1974.	Heavy hauler construction equipment mover for Perez (I think it was) across from Mass Pike Exit 3 ramp in late fall 1974.
LP Transportation from Chester, NY stopped at Mr Donut along U.S. 5 in W. Springfield in early 1975.	GMC Astro for Johnny's Mayflower stopped by Exit 6 of the Mass Pike & I-291 in Chicopee, MA in early 1975.	KW COE leased on with Midwest Emery from Chicago waiting to load at the Pioneer Valley Ref. Warehouse on Springfield's N. end in early 1975.
Senn Trucking from Newberry, SC at an Exxon station along U.S. 5 in W. Springfield, summer 1974.	R.M. Sullivan Transportation, Inc. from Springfield, MA used these two old White tractors for a yard snow plow and a yard jockey back in early 1975 when Mr. Sullivan himself let me roam around the yard to shoot some pictures of whatever equipment I wanted to.
A U model Mack pulling this old front end loader stopped in front of the old A & W Root Beer stand along U.S. 202 also called North Elm St. in Westfield in 1974.	White Freightliner at a W. Springfield motel along U.S. 5 in early 1975. I never could catch the name of that reefer fleet, even though I'd see from time to time while making my photo rounds as a teen.
