Ingersoll Rand from Los Angeles ran a regular weekly route into the Springfield area and always fueled up at the ARCO across from the Marquis Texaco on U.S. 5 in W. Springfield. They always had that classic looking "candy cane" striped bumper on their Pete COE's. I took this picture in late 1974. |
